MCPD needs WinForms but no WPF ???

Hmmm... am becoming vaguely interested in getting MS certified, and am currently investigating an MCPD on Visual Studio 2008 (.net 3.5). It looks like you need 3 exams, but I can't for the life of me get my head round why they have retained the winForms component and not replaced it with WPF (70-502).

This from the MS certification website:

  1. I found the same perplexing information, it makes no sense so I contacted MS and they verify that only the Winform test will qualify for MCPD. So I decided to just get my MCTS.

    Good Luck
